Oscar De Marchi is a young man from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. On the night of 17 january 2008 around 2 p.m. he got hit by a speeding taxi in the centre of Amsterdam.

Oscar is still in a very deep coma and is being treated by doctors at the Amsterdam Medical Centre.

Oscar seems to suffer from what is known as Autonomic Dysfunction Syndrome (ADS). It causes atacks of extreme high blood pressure and heartbeat.

ADS is a very rare phenomenon and not much research is being done to find a cure or even a way to work with it. The only scientific article we found is here.
